Perfectly imperfect frilly topped bowl featuring not only legs, but it's feet in pom-pom slippers - because why not!
 
Currently, this bowl is a one off:  it has baby pink slippers with peach coloured pom pom, and would be great for eating your cornflakes from or perfect for taking a side dish to the table! Oh, it would be super cute as a plant pot too!
 
The bowl stands at 15cm tall overall, the bowl element is 11cm deep, and is 15cm wide.
 
It has been marked down slightly because of two minor faults with the glazing.
Adding two elements of clay together – in this case the legs - comes at a risk and I add extra clay around the join to give support and allow me to blend the seam seamlessly. However, as the blending dried a small - cosmetic split has appeared. The leg is very much attached and it's been fully glazed too which gives it extra strength, but the split in the seam is visible if you look closely
Secondly, one of the soles of the slippers decided to bring a little bit of the kiln shelf with it which has become fused on it (see pictures). It is underneath the foot so not visible but it is there so needed to be flagged!
 
Reflecting these minor issues it's been discounted by 25%.

Our china looks and feels very (very) different to mass-produced pottery; it’s not fine or delicate, but wonderfully chunky and full of texture, you’ll see thumb prints, makers marks, glaze specks/drips and heaps of individuality. We call it perfectly imperfect pottery and firmly believe it’s all the better for it!
