Our chunky china is very different to mass-produced pottery. Expect to see thumb prints, specks in the glaze (which may also be thicker in some parts than others). If there is colour on it, remember it is hand painted so there may be areas where the colour has taken more than in others - it’s what makes our chunky china unique and full of character. Perfectly imperfect pottery and proud of it!
Who doesn’t want a Rudolph (and his red nose) as a candle holder this Christmas! I mean, I’m biased of course, but they are adorable and would be cool on a mantlepiece or festive table. Each is handmade so unique in their character, design and size..
Size-wise they are available in either dinner candle size (the normal sized candle if you will) and taper-size (by that we mean the pencil thin/ultra skinny/tall candles) but whichever size you choose you may need a bit of wax dripped in to the hole to make them sturdy.
** please note that they are all different shapes and sizes - no two will be the same size wise! **
Dinner candle size - £25
Taper candle size - £18
While the candle is not included but as we get asked about taper/thin/pencil candles the whole time and they are available from a number of places, but we like these ones and they come in a variety of colours too https://amzn.eu/d/4SOqeiN

Our china looks and feels very (very) different to mass-produced pottery; it’s not fine or delicate, but wonderfully chunky and full of texture, you’ll see thumb prints, makers marks, glaze specks/drips and heaps of individuality. We call it perfectly imperfect pottery and firmly believe it’s all the better for it!
Please note that because each piece is unique the design will be different from the one in the picture – similar but unique.
Marigold and Lettice pottery is (hand)made to be loved and used, and happily goes in the oven, dishwasher and microwave.

Marigold and Lettice pottery is made to be used, loved and enjoyed; it’s made using sturdy earthenware clay and a thick white glaze. This means it’s hard-wearing and every piece can safely go in the oven, dishwasher, microwave and even the freezer.
Our china is not fine and delicate, it is chunky and full of texture. It is handmade (and homemade) and has a very different look and feel to mass-produced pottery. It'll have thumb prints and markers marks but it is made with love and we hope it brings you joy for many years.
